What you want hosted, roughly how busy it is, and anything it has to talk to. A sentence is usually enough to start.
STEP 02
We size it and quote
A fixed monthly price, in writing, with the server spec it is based on. If your project does not suit us, we say so here.
STEP 03
We build and migrate
The server is set up, your site or app moved across and tested on a temporary address. Your live site keeps running until you approve the switch.
STEP 04
We keep it running
Backups, patching and monitoring from then on. When something needs changing, you message a person who already knows your setup.
Where we are a good fit — and where we are not
Worth reading before you enquire. It saves us both a call.
Straight answers
- Good fit: business websites, small shops, internal tools, web apps with a normal amount of traffic, databases, community game servers, and jobs that need to run reliably in the background.
- Not a good fit: anything expecting sudden very large traffic spikes, video streaming at scale, or workloads needing dedicated GPUs. We will tell you at the quote stage rather than take the money and struggle.
- One region. Servers are in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's London region. That is the right answer for a UK audience and the wrong one if you need presence on several continents.
- We tell you when you have outgrown us. If your project needs more than this setup should carry, you will hear it from us first, with a recommendation — not after six months of it being slow.
- One engineer, and that cuts both ways. You always speak to the person who built your server. It also means we take on a limited number of clients, deliberately.

How the remote management works, exactly
- It is a fixed list, not a shell. The dashboard can ask for the jobs above and nothing else. There is no “run this command” box, because a web page that can run anything on your server is a web page worth attacking.
- The account we use is not root. We connect as a dedicated user whose permissions cover only those jobs, using a key that never leaves our server.
- Everything is written down. Each request records what was asked for, who asked, when it ran and what came back. You can read it, and so can we.
- You can turn it off. Say the word and the agent stops connecting to your server at all. You keep the dashboard and the monitoring.

No setup fee and no minimum term — a month’s notice either way. Migration from your current host is included in the monthly price. Domain registration and any paid third-party services you ask for are billed at cost.

Where are the servers?
In Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s London region. Your data stays in the United Kingdom, which is usually the answer a UK customer needs for their own compliance.
Can you move my existing site over?
Yes, and it is included in the monthly price. We copy the site or application onto a temporary address and test it there. Your live site keeps running the whole time and nothing changes until you have looked at the copy and approved the switch.
Do I get full access to the server?
Yes. It is your server and you get root over SSH using your own key. Password logins are switched off because they are the thing that gets brute forced.
What happens if something breaks at three in the morning?
We check every server every five minutes, so we usually know before you do. We are one engineer rather than a 24-hour operations desk, so an overnight fault is normally picked up first thing rather than instantly. We would rather tell you that plainly than sell you a promise we cannot keep.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
No minimum term and no setup fee. A month’s notice either way, and you can take your data with you at any point.
What can I do from the dashboard myself?
See how the server is running, open or close a firewall port, restart a service, read its logs, apply security updates, run a backup and add an SSH key. Everything you ask for is recorded, so there is always a record of what changed and who asked for it.
